Curry County and the Ranchvale Volunteer Fire Department would like to cordially invite the public to attend the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Ranchvale Fire Station on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 9:00 am, to be held at 1720 Curry Road 16, Clovis, NM 88101. Ranchvale is the latest addition to the list of Curry County funded Fire Districts, which include Field, Broadview, and Pleasant Hill. The new station will be an 80 foot by 80 foot pre-engineered metal building that will include three garage bays for firetrucks, an office, a common area with kitchen, and a meeting room. Curry County was granted $400,000 of Capital Outlay Appropriations from the State of New Mexico for the construction of the new station. At the September 17, 2019 regular commission meeting, the Curry County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to award the construction contract to Nick Griego and Son's Construction, Inc. for a cost of $403,144.56.
