Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews have rescued one person after they got swept away in a northeast Albuquerque arroyo Tuesday evening. AFR reports there was an initial call for two people in the arroyo and that they only had a description for one of the possible victims. AFR says they believe there was only one person in the arroyo for that call and are still looking for another person. AFR says as of Tuesday night, they have switched from a rescue mission to a recovery operation. AFR says the person rescued was in the Embudo Arroyo near Washington and Cutler. AFR says the person they are still looking for was reported separately and crews were initially sent up in the diversion channel near Alameda in hopes of making a rescue.
