The Nevada Department of Public Safety, State Fire Marshal Division, is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect believed to be involved in a recent Fernley fire.
It happened on March 12 at approximately 1:30 a.m., when security cameras recorded an individual on and around the City of Fernley’s Shop and Garage located at the Out of Town Park.
The suspect was recorded entering the City of Fernley’s property by climbing over a fence, remaining on the property as smoke became visible from one of the security cameras and walking around the property at approximately 2:20 a.m.
Security camera footage shows that a few minutes later the smoke appeared to lessen, the suspect re-entered the property and shortly after heavy smoke is visible.
