Team Fire, Team Law and Team First Responders are battling to take the title in the Battle of the Badges blood drive.
It is all a fun competition between police, deputies, ems and firefighters to see which team can donate the most blood.
Blood drives through Vitalant are scheduled across Northern Nevada and the California Sierra communities through the August 22nd.
Summer is often a slow time for blood donations because regular donors are often on vacation.
