VIDEO: Firefighters from the Sparks Fire Department will be shaving their heads Tuesday, March 12 to support childhood cancer research.
The Sparks Fire Department will host a St. Baldrick’s pre-shave event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Firefighters and team members unable to attend the main St. Baldrick’s event on March 15 in Reno will shave their heads and raise money to support St. Baldrick’s and the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation. They hope to raise $7,000 this year for child cancer research. If you would like to donate, click here.
The main St. Baldrick’s event that is open to the public will be held Friday, March 15 at the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
