VIDEO: Crews had to respond to a fire that broke out Tuesday morning in a vacant building near downtown Las Vegas.
Firefighters got a call just before 5:30 a.m. about smoke and flames coming from a boarded up four-plex apartment building in the 1500 block of Linden Avenue, near Bonanza Road and Maryland Parkway, according to Las Vegas Fire and Rescue. Officials say crews were able to get water on the fire and knock it down. No utilities are connected, and no injuries have been reported.
There's been no immediate word on the cause. Investigators are responding, said Fire and Rescue.
