VIDEOS: The city of Henderson is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with a furry new friend. Brooklyn is the city's new therapy dog dedicated to first responders and public safety personnel. The 1-year-old Goldendoodle works to promote the mental health and wellness of first responders. Englestad Foundation and 4E Kennels Healing Hearts trained Brooklyn to be a perfect fit for the team. The city of Henderson is one of the first public agencies in southern Nevada to have a full-time therapy dog.
