VIDEO/PHOTO: Las Vegas Fire and Rescue is welcoming new additions to the team. 40 firefighter recruits were honored during their graduation ceremony in Council Chambers on Thursday. Each recruit was pinned to officially mark their completion of the academy. Class speaker, Brandon Neilson provided a speech for the graduating class known as the 'Boulevard Bandits.' "This job is a labor of love and you'll get out of it what you put into it," said Neilson. "There's no one else I rather be doing it with I would call you all my friends but like Dominic Toretto said 'I don't have friends, I got family.'" The new recruits will get straight to work next week and report to one of the city’s fire stations. Congratulations to all the new first responders.
