Ogdensburg police busted a meth lab Aug. 8 after firefighters received reports of smoke emanating from a Lincoln Avenue apartment. Ogdensburg Fire Department and Police Department responded to 412 Lincoln Ave. for a report of smoke emanating from the upstairs apartment. The investigation into the incident revealed that a “one-pot” methamphetamine manufacturing operation failed, exploded and caused small fire. The fire was extinguished by the resident prior to arrival of first responders.
