Two Niagara Falls firefighters had windows on their personal vehicles smashed while parked outside the fire station at Royal Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard, according to a police report.
The firefighters called police Tuesday morning after noticing the damage at about 7:30 a.m. The vehicles had been parked at the station, located at 320 Hyde Park Blvd., since about 4:30 p.m. Monday, according to the report.
The window in the driver's door of each vehicle was broken. The firefighters told police the vandalism may have occurred while they were away from the hall on the scene of a structure fire, but they could not be completely sure.
