Firefighters from several departments quickly extinguished a fire on Hunt Street in the Town of Watertown Friday morning. The fire was just over the line that divides the town and city. The fire destroyed a shed at 20976 Hunt Street, which was next to a home. One side of the home sustained damage as well. Chickens and lawnmowers were lost in the fire, which was reported just before 5 AM. Firefighters from the town and city of Watertown, Rutland and Adams Center were all called to the scene. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
