A Western New York firefighter's name has been added to the state's Firefighter Memorial in Albany. The state held a ceremony Tuesday to recognize about two dozen firefighters who have died in the line of duty... many over the last year... some as far back as 1935. One of the names added was Joseph Benintende. Benintende was a firefighter with the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Company in the Town of Tonawanda. He died in 1973.
