VIDEO: Crews battled a huge fire at an abandoned mall in Utica, forcing the city to declare a state of emergency. Multiple fire departments were on the scene early Thursday morning and throughout the day battling the enormous fire. The building has gone up in flames twice before, but firefighters say this was much bigger and more difficult to fight than what they've seen in the past. City officials say the structure is now a threat to public safety because of air quality from the fire.
