Ten-year-old Alejandro was crying and hanging from the side of the mountain near Anthony's Nose on Thursday afternoon, and could not be found by his relatives, who were hiking the peak that overlooks the Hudson River along the border between Cortlandt and Philipstown A young boy ran up to Lawrence Chiulli, his girlfriend and his mom, showed them a picture of the missing boy, who goes by "Ale," and asked if they had seen him. They all shook their heads no. But as an Army National Guardsman and an Eagle Scout, Chiulli wasn't going to walk away. He said he sent the two women down the mountain to look for the child and followed the boy to the last spot where he saw Alejandro. "We trekked down the mountain to Alejandro’s last known spot," Chiulli told The Journal News.
