A funeral for Oriskany’s Assistant Fire Chief Charles ‘Bud’ Koss was held Tuesday, after he passed away unexpectedly on July 7.
The procession started at the Oriskany Firehouse at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Koss was a member of the Oriskany Fire Department for more than 25 years, and helped found the CNY Stair Climb. He was also the president of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, and assisted in organizing the annual ride to support the Believe 271 Foundation, which benefits local firefighters in need.
Koss was 53 years old.
