Two women have been badly burned in a house fire on Third Avenue in Schenectady. It broke out around 11 a.m. Monday. Two women were taken to Albany Medical Center for burns. Their conditions are unclear. The home has fire and smoke damage on the second floor and attic and water damage on the first floor. The cause is under investigation.
