Albany police have safely located a missing 16-year-old with autism. The teen went missing after a fire broke out at his Albany home early Tuesday morning. Police believe he had run off after he made it out of the home. There is no word on where the teen was found. The fire broke out around 2 a.m. on 126 Yardboro Avenue. Police said there were six people in the home at the time, and all six people made it out safely. However, one person was found unresponsive on a sidewalk outside of the home. Emergency crews transported that person to Albany Medical Center for treatment. The fire broke out towards the front of the home, and firefighters were able to knock it down quickly. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
