A Sunday night fire in Norwood heavily damaged a home on Lake Shore Drive. Crews responded to reports of a structure fire around 10 PM Sunday night. Norwood Fire Chief Harold Loomis told 7 News that the fire was out about 10 minutes after crews arrived. He says the kitchen area of trailer was heavily damaged and the rest of the trailer received some smoke, heat, and water damage. No one was injured, however, Loomis says the home was not insured. The American Red Cross is aiding three people. The organization provided financial assistance for necessities such as food and clothing to two adults and one 9-year-old child. American Red Cross Volunteers also offered emotional support and comfort kits containing personal care items and stuffed animals for the child.
