The Oneida City Police Department and Oneida City Fire Department are partnering up this year to ensure children in need can have a very merry Christmas. The Oneida City Police Department has held an annual Shop with a Cop for years now, letting area children shop for the holidays. There was a time where the Oneida City Police Department didn't know if they could hold the highly anticipated event this year, even if there wasn't a complete lockdown. The Oneida City Fire Department was in the same boat, unable to hold its annual golf tournament as well as its annual Christmas movie event. "So we reached out and asked them to help us sell raffle tickets and to join the event," Burgess said. This year, Shop with a Cop is now Shop with a Cop and Firefighter.
