Fire crews battled a house fire in Rochester Friday morning. It happened on Hudson Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. Fire crews say it was reported by a woman on her way to work. They also say flames on the porch and first floor were knocked down within 15 minutes. According to crews, the house was not secure and claim the store owner across the street said people frequently travel to and from the house. Crews did not find anyone inside the house and no firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
