At least 60 pets were rescued from an early morning house fire in Perinton. The fire happened at a home on Kreag Road around 1 a.m. Thursday. Fire crews tell News10NBC that they got help from deputies pulling out dozens of cats and dogs from the home. The fire chief didn't know if any animals had died but said a majority of them are okay. The humane society and animal control are taking care of them. The couple living inside got out safely, and the home has some minor damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
