A procession was held today in the town of Bath in remembrance of Daryl Tomb, a first responder who recently died of COVID-19.
The precession consisted of around 100 emergency response vehicles from all throughout Steuben and surrounding counties. The procession started in the town of Bath at 11:30 and made its way to the town of Savona where Tombs served on the fire department.
According to Tombs obituary, he passed away at Geisinger Medical center in Dansville, PA on Saturday, January 16th. The obituary also said that Tombs death “sent a shock wave across the EMS world,” a statement that was echoed at his procession.
