The Stittville community came together Wednesday to honor a former fire chief who recently lost his battle with cancer. Neil "Suds" Sutherland served the fire department for 57 years and spent 20 as chief. He also served as the department's secretary and commissioner throughout his tenure. Sutherland was 75 years old.
