For the third night in a row, Youngstown firefighters were called out to battle flames at a vacant home. This time it was on the city's West Side. The fire broke out at around 2:30 a.m. At a home on the 100 block of North Maryland Avenue. Firefighters were called back out two hours later when the fire erupted again in the home's attic. Since no one has lived at the home for about a year and the gas and electricity was turned off, investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire broke out. No one was injured. The investigation continues into three other vacant house fires on the east and south sides of town since Wednesday morning.
