In the very near future it's a very real possibility cuts are coming to Liberty Township. "I'm a full-time firefighter paramedic with Liberty Township Fire Department," Neal Brock said. Brock is one. "I am a Lieutenant," Chad Marohl said. Marohl is another. "I am a firefighter paramedic for Liberty Township Fire Department," Mike Murphy said. Murphy is another. They are three out of a possible 18 firefighter paramedics that total 242 years of service the township could soon let go. They say the reason doesn't add up. "It's a bad idea," Brock said. "You're playing politics with residents safety." Township trustees and Delaware County commissioners are hearing proposals for the township to drop EMS services and give the responsibilities to the county.
