Benefit planned for Fowler firefighter who lost home to fire

Fowler Township firefighters are pitching in to help a fellow volunteer who lost her home in a fire and are asking members of the public to help out as well. The Davis Drive home of Fowler VFD Fire Lt. Roni Conner' was deemed a total loss after flames broke out earlier this month. Friends and fellow firefighters are planning to hold a pancake breakfast later this month to benefit Conner, who is a paramedic, firefighter, fire inspector, EMT instructor, and a 9-1-1 Dispatcher. The breakfast event will include a 50-50, basket raffle and boot donation. Organizers are also asking people to donate money and baskets for the benefit which will be held at the Fowler Fire Department, 3386 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Cortland on October 21, 2018, from 7:30 am to 1 pm.
