A Cincinnati firefighter accused of punching three Xavier students has been in several physical altercations in the past, according to personnel records held by his department. The incidents, however, occurred before he became a firefighter. He hasn't been disciplined during his tenure with the Cincinnati Fire Department, according to the documents obtained by The Enquirer following a record request. Justin Bancroft, 27, faces two counts of felonious assault and one count of assault after an altercation in The Banks downtown late last month. Court documents say Bancroft punched Ciaran Burke, 22, in the face, knocking him out. Burke suffered facial fractures and other injuries. John Lannon, 21, had his jaw broken in two places, suffered a concussion and damage to his teeth, the records say. A third man suffered a black eye and concussion.
