Investigators said the state fire marshal will work to determine the cause of a commercial fire at a Pleasant Township business. A witness called 911 after seeing flames and smoke billowing from the Mid-State Diesel company around 4:15 Monday afternoon along London-Groveport Road. Investigators said the roof on the pole barn-like structure collapsed and the buildings a complete loss. Fire crews said several chemicals including gasoline and propane were discovered inside the building. Fire crews from three counties were on hand battling the smoke and flames. Investigators said they brought in large tankers of water because the area has no fire hydrants.
