Two people have been transported for medical treatment after a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon. Pleasant Township Fire Department was dispatched to the 1500 block of Lake Road on calls of a head-on crash. Fire Chief Mike Hutton said there were only two people injured, one in each vehicle. Ohio Highway Patrol Trooper RJ Wilson identified the drivers as Thomas Garvin of Bremen and Amy Myers. Wilson said Garvin was driving in the southbound lane in a pick up truck hauling a cargo trailer when he went left of center, before hitting Myers head-on, who was traveling in an SUV. Wilson added Garvin told troopers a bee had flown into his vehicle and stung him. However, they did not have time to confirm that before he was transported for medical care.
