The recently purchased and operational ambulance in the city of Uhrichsville is running well, according to the fire department. At the latest city council meeting, Chief Justin Edwards and other firefighters expressed gratitude to council for the ambulance. EMS Coordinator Wes Dillon says that the new vehicle has transported multiple patients in its first few weeks of operation. “Our ambulance has been in service for almost two weeks … our new ambulance. And I just wanted to let council know we’ve transported 10 patients in it already. It’s doing its job. We love it. Again, we still thank everybody for allowing us to buy that.” The new ambulance replaced an older model, which had been stretched thin by years of use. The now semi-retired vehicle serves as a backup to the primary unit.
