2 students hospitalized after vaping substance at high school in Pataskala

Two Licking Heights High School students were hospitalized after vaping a substance Wednesday morning. The incident happened just before 8:15 a.m. at Licking Heights High School at 4000 Mink Street Southwest. Both students were taken to Mount Carmel East. Pataskala police said the students were a 15 and 16-year-old girls. Police said one student possessed the pen, two students used it and two others were present at the time. Charges are possible depending on what was in the pen, according to police. Test results on the substance could take up to two weeks.
