A horse is recovering after getting stuck in an icy pond. Rescue crews were called to a farm on State Route 132 in Warren County Tuesday. The Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District said the pond was about 4 to 5-feet deep and covered in ice. Crews had to wear insulated suits and use special tools to break the ice to free the animal. They said the horse had been in the water about an hour. A vet checked out the horse and warmed it up with blankets. The fire district said the horse will be OK and didn't suffer any injuries.
