Two goats died after a fire broke out and destroyed a barn behind a home on Johnsville Brookville Road in Perry Twp. Thursday afternoon. Firefighters responded to the 3600 block of Johnsville Brookville Road, near Providence Pike, around 1:30 p.m. Video and photos contributed from a neighbor show heavy smoke and flames engulfed the structure before firefighters arrived. Homeowners were able to get cows out of the barn and to safety but two goats did not make it out and died in the fire.
