A family of four has been displaced in Colerain Township after a clothes dryer machine caught fire in their townhome. Eleven Colerain Township Fire Department units, the Fairfield Fire Department and the Forest Park Fire Department responded to the fire in the 2300 block of Hidden Meadows Drive around 12:15 p.m. Saturday. Advertisement Once the firefighters had control of the fire and checked the buildings next to the townhouse, investigators found out the fire started in the clothes dryer machine. Investigators also noticed that the fire spread to the kitchen and living areas. Investigators estimate the damage to be around $30,000. The Red Cross is helping the family find temporary housing.
