No one was injured in a fire that displaced a family with small children. The Andover Volunteer Fire Department was called to a home on Footville Richmond Road west of state Route 7 around 7 p.m. Wednesday and found a home fully engulfed in flames, according to fire Chief Mike Spencer. The residents, which included a grandmother, mother, father, 4-year-old and newborn baby, were all outside when the crew arrived. The grandmother was taken to the Andover emergency room for smoke inhalation as a precaution because she has medical issues, Spencer said. Crews from the Orwell, Pierpont, Rome, Jefferson, Wayne, North Shenango, Conneaut, Linesville and Summit volunteer fire departments were called for assistance. Temperatures were in the 90s as firefighters worked, Spencer said. “With the heat, we called everyone and their brother,” Spencer said.
