Fire crews had trouble getting access to fight a house fire Wednesday afternoon after finding a potential hoarding situation inside a home. Moraine Fire Chief David Cooper said they couldn't really get in to fight the fire when they were called out to Main Street around 2 p.m. Once they were able to completely knock it down, they did find a person dead inside the home. The cause is still under investigation, but the fire was mostly contained to a living room in the home. It had burned through the floor and went into the upper part of the structure. So far, the person killed has not been identified. They do believe that person was the only one home when the fire sparked.
