Kevin and Tammy Ohrt are both firefighters with Toledo Fire and Rescue.
They're not only married to the job, they're married to each other.
"Well, we actually were privates on the job together and we worked at the same station on the same shift," explains Tammy Ohrt.
While they were out fighting fires, there was a spark that kindled into romance.
Now, they're taking their work relationship to the next step.
The two are both now promoted to lieutenant.
"We enjoy working together. We enjoy training together. So, we kind of made the dual decision to take the test together," added Lt. Tammy Ohrt.
Lieutenant Ohrt and Lieutenant Ohrt may consider this promotion bittersweet because their time together here at Station 7 will come to an end.
