Firefighters requested for state Route 41 to be shut down briefly between Troy and Covington Friday morning while they extinguished a reported fire, according to initial reports. The fire was reported in the 5000 block of state Route 41 around 8:30 a.m. Friday. First crews on scene reported smoke coming from a structure, however the fire was quickly brought under control, emergency scanner traffic indicates. There were no injuries reported.
