Firefighters found a dismembered body in the middle of a brush fire early Wednesday, officials said. Cleveland Fire spokesman Mike Norman said firefighters about 4 a.m. went to a brush fire on Larchmont Avenue and Clermont Avenue in the city’s Collinwood neighborhood. The remains were found in the middle of the fire, Norman said. Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said investigators found the dismembered body near train tracks. Cleveland police’s homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner are investigating the death. Investigators focused on an area at the end of a dead-end road that leads to the train tracks and an open field. The medical examiner has not yet released the name of the person.
