Police are investigating a fatal car fire in a Blue Ash parking lot Wednesday night.
The car fire reportedly happened around 9:30 p.m. in a parking lot along Lake Forest Drive near Glendale Milford Road.
When crews arrived on scene they said the car was fully engulfed, but the Blue Ash Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire quickly.
Upon further investigation, police found the body of a deceased person in the car.
Witnesses reported hearing at least one explosion shortly before the fire was reported.
Police said they are combing through evidence, interviewing potential witnesses, and following additional leads as part of the investigation.
Police reportedly used the jaws of life to remove the body from the vehicle. The family of the victim was reportedly at the scene.
