A fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. in Sharon Thursday evening. The blaze happened at The Emerald Tablet on E. State Street in the downtown area. Officials from Sharon, Hermitage and Farrell were on scene dealing with the business fire that started in the basement of the building. All four workers at Emerald Tablet were able to get out of the building without injuries. Two cats have not been found yet but it's believed that they are hiding and not injured. "There's some moderate damage in the basement and there's smoke throughout the building. There's some soot from the traffic of fire fighters going in and out but the damage is minimal and I think they'll be able to open back up relatively quickly," said Sharon Fire Chief Bob Fiscus. Fire officials are still investigating what caused the fire.
