VIDEO: Casey White and Ariana Negulis are engaged and fell in love over food. The pair met while Negulis was working for White's concession trailer. Now, they own several food trucks together. Their next project, besides planning their wedding, is renovating an old, fully-functioning fire truck into a food truck. The couple recently purchased the firetruck from the Canal Fulton Fire Department during an auction. “So we followed the auction for a week and a half, and there were like 17 bids on it," White said. "But we actually got it for a reasonable price.” Negulis was already very familiar with the firetruck that they bought. It was the exact truck she worked on while she was training to become a firefighter in Canal Fulton. “I was pretty excited when we got ahold of it," Negulis said. "Just the thought of owning a firetruck itself is pretty cool.” While Negulis has traded her fire hose for a spatula, she said the truck still holds fond memories for her. The couple is now in the process of converting Engine 5 into a food truck.
