The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a crash after a sedan and a Ford pick-up truck collided, leaving three people injured late Thursday night. Troopers from the OSHP Xenia Post were called to the crash on state Route 4 just north of Bath Road around 11:54 p.m., according to OSHP officials. Initial investigations showed troopers a 2019 Ford F-150 truck driven by 41-year-old Samuel Bakos, of Fairborn, was driving south on SR-4 in the northbound lanes. Bakos crashed into an oncoming 2023 Hyundai Elantra traveling in the northbound lanes driven by 50-year-old Shannon Griffin. Bakos, Griffin, and her passenger Tammy Wells were taken to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries. The Huber Heights Fire Division and Fairborn Fire Department also responded to the crash.
