A massive, four-alarm fire is burning at Oregon Pallet in Salem Monday morning. Salem Fire Department says the fire is burning at 1650 Salem Industrial Dr. NE. The address corresponds to the Oregon Pallet company. Officials said the fire was under control at around 6:15 a.m. The flames were contained to a burning heap of pallets. The owners of Oregon Pallet told KATU News that no one was inside the building when the fire started, but eight of their semi-trucks and an excavator were destroyed. Salem Fire Department said they responded to the incident at around 3:30 a.m. The fire is so large, it’s appearing on the GOES-17 Satellite Imagery.
