Investigators are working to determine what caused an early morning carport fire in Beaverton. The fire destroyed six cars. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue says they responded to the incident around 2 a.m. at an apartment complex along Southwest Farmington Road, near Southwest Murray Boulevard. Fire officials say in addition to the cars that were damaged, the fire also caused thermal damage to the building.
