A barn went up in flames Thursday evening in Canby, officials said. The Canby Fire Department said crews responded to the blaze at South Mulino Road and South Township Road. Firefighters said the barn, which had been used to store chemicals for a nursery, was destroyed by about 7:30 p.m. No one was hurt. It's unclear what caused the fire.
