Two more people have succumbed to COVID-19, the Oregon Health Authority announced Sunday, bringing the total number of people who have died from the disease in the state to 215.
Additionally, OHA said there were 301 newly confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19. The state now has a total of 10,230 cases.
The state also reported 253,971 negative tests.
Of the two newly reported deaths, one was a 96-year-old woman in Lincoln County. She tested positive for the disease June 30 and died July 2. She had underlying medical conditions.
The other person who died from COVID-19 was a 70-year-old Marion County man. He tested positive June 11 and died July 3. He also had underlying medical conditions.
OHA also released more information about the state’s 213th death that was reported Saturday. She 86 years old and lived in Lincoln County.
