Hand sanitizer is still a popular item on the shopping list, but in some cases it's hard to find on the store shelf.
A fire department on the south coast is doing something about it after they received hand sanitizer donations.
120 cases of sanitizer was given to the North Bend Fire Department by Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW).
ROWW is an organization started by the late actor, Paul Walker.
His brother, Cody Walker, used to live, work and volunteer in Coos County.
"There's obviously a nationwide shortage of hand sanitizer, so for them to think of us and donate that to this area, it's a pretty cool thing," said North Bend firefighter Luke Rector.
The donation started a chain reaction as they now donate it to those in the community.
