The Eugene Springfield Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire Saturday at the Burger King restaurant on Division Street in Eugene. According to firefighters, the fire worked its way up to the attic in the roof. When the fire crew arrived, there was smoke and flames visible from the top portion of the building. "We don't have a cause. We have our fire marshals coming out to take a look and do the investigation," said Battalion Chief Chris Paskett. It took about 20 minutes to control the fire. There were no injuries reported and the restaurant remained closed for the rest of the evening.
