A township in the Poconos is exploring new options about how to deliver fire services to the community. The goal is to think outside of the box, because as the population grows, the number of volunteer firefighters dwindles.
Tobyhanna Township is working with The State Department of Community and Economic Development to conduct a study. One option is to regionalize fire services.

He says, "we need to come up with some fresh ideas, something maybe we haven't looked at before."
